  • To manage a designated portfolio of trusts and companies of low- medium level complexity and to complete all tasks and processes related to the administration of those entities.
  • Dependent on experience level the TO may act as a supervisor to a more junior team member.
Main ResponsibilitiesTrust Officer will include but are not limited to:
  • The administration of a portfolio of of trusts and companies of low- medium level complexity.
  • Cash management and payments.
  • Drafting of minutes and resolutions.
  • Maintenance of records, statutory or otherwise.
  • Bank/investment account openings.
  • Ensuring that client invoices are produced and sent to the client in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that debtors are controlled and debts collected in a timely manner.
  • Involvement in the preparation for client meetings (and occasional attendance at) and follow up on action points.
  • Liaising with intermediaries.
  • Ensure CDD is maintained for all clients in accordance with the Guernsey Handbook and procedures set by the Risk & Compliance Committee.
  • Be involved in the client acceptance process in line with TCI's procedures; liaising closely with the Director responsible and the Client Acceptance Risk Committee.
  • Liaising with the Compliance department on AML and fiduciary reviews and ensuring the timely completion of any action points.
  • Involvement in investment monitoring, including attendance at and recording of quarterly meetings with ARC and the setting and regular review of investment restrictions.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions.
  • Take responsibility for continuing self-development by working on performance goals and undertaking training as agreed with management and HR.
  • Ad-hoc tasks or projects as required including assisting on other clients in line with the above tasks.

  • At least 2-5 years experience in company and trust administration.
  • STEP/ICSA or equivalent, fully or part qualified with an expectation that studies will be completed in due course.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience of Viewpoint would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Guernsey's regulatory environment.
