Service AreaThe Office of the Committee for Health and Social CareGrade: £70,091 - £114,681 per annum.(plus an on-call payment of 6%)Full TimeThe States of Guernsey are seeking to appoint an Associate Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join the Emergency Department at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey.Working as part of a dedicated team, the post-holder will be expected to work with the Health and Social Care Committee (HSC) managers and professional colleagues to ensure the efficient delivery of clinical services. He/she will be expected to observe the departments agreed policies and procedures, drawn up in consultation with professionals on clinical matters, and to follow the policies, standing orders and financial instructions of the HSC. The post-holder will need to be proficient in all aspects of contemporary emergency medicine with a particular emphasis on independent assessment and early decision making.
