We're working with a well-established fiduciary services provider who is looking to appoint a Contractor - Trust and Company Closure Services for a 12 month contract in Guernsey.This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist team with the potential for the role to be extended.This role is focused on managing the wind-down of complex structures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working closely with stakeholders throughout the closure process.Responsibilities include:
Coordinating the closure of trusts and companies in line with current legal and regulatory requirements
Liaising with clients, intermediaries and internal teams to manage all aspects of the closure process
Reviewing and filing documentation, settling liabilities, and overseeing the liquidation of assets
Monitoring tax clearances and ensuring all outstanding matters are addressed
You should have a minimum five years’ experience in a fiduciary setting, with a solid background in trust closures ideally with a professional qualification (or are working towards one), together with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.This role would be Ideal for detail-oriented, proactive individuals who enjoy focused project work.
