Band 4 £31,966 - £35,828 BAR £36,899 - £37,967 per annum.Working unsocial hours on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday or on weekdays between 8pm and 6am will attracted payment at an enhanced rate as follows:Monday to Friday 8:00pm - 06:00am - 40%Saturday - 40%Sunday and Bank Holidays - 80%Full TimeThe States of Guernsey is looking for a Support Worker to join the team at the Croft for Children and Family Community Services.The post holder can be placed in a variety of settings, including residential homes, family homes and community settings, and will be required to work a shift system that offers support 24 hours a day, and work alongside colleagues and this includes senior staff.Staff will be required to be involved in all aspects of maintaining the area using the active support model. This may include cleaning, shopping, washing ironing, cooking etc. Service users will be encouraged to participate in these activities with the staff.The post holder will take on the role of key worker, ensuring the role is undertaken in accordance with service principles, procedures and quality standards, and participate in providing a high standard of physical and emotional care to service users.Staff are expected to hold a driving licence and be prepared to drive service vehicles. This is essential for this postNo initial qualifications are needed to apply for this role.
