Do you have compliance experience, and are you seeking a new contract job in Guernsey? Apex Group is looking for a full-time Deputy Compliance Officer, and the role comes with an attractive hourly rate.As a Compliance Officer, you will provide maternity cover and act on behalf of the Deputy Compliance Officer. The contract role will support all business areas by providing compliance advice and guidance. Apex Guernsey includes Apex Fund and Corporate Services (Guernsey) Limited and acquired Licensees as appropriate.To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
  • Act as a senior member of the Regulatory Compliance team
  • Prepare periodic Compliance reports
  • Assist with the annual review of all relevant compliance policies
  • Review Group policies and changes to regulation and conduct impact assessments
  • Ensure the progression of any compliance monitoring findings through to resolution through proactive coordination with the 1st line of defence teams.

  • The ability to assess business requests accurately and promptly, delivering pragmatic and timely solutions to compliance-related queries and /or identified risks
  • Keen attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Competent analytical, research and investigative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (including Word and Excel).
