Service AreaChildren and Family Community ServicesGrade: Band 4 £31,966 - £35,828 BAR £36,899 - £37,967 to Band 5 £36,899 - £42,779 BAR £43,954 - £47,590 per annum.Full TimeThe States of Guernsey are looking for a Children's Dental Nurse to join the team at the Children's Dental Service.The Children's Dental Service (CDS) provides specialist paediatric dental care and orthodontic care to the children of Guernsey eligible for treatment through the department. This includes children who have recognised special needs as well as those with a high risk of dental disease. The CDS works closely with other professional teams and focuses on prevention and early intervention.In addition to undertaking all routine clinical dental nursing duties the post holder will be responsible for one of the dental surgeries, they will have administration responsibilities and be part of the reception team.The post holder will have the opportunity to assist and support clinicians providing treatment under sedation and general anaesthetic, they will also assist the visiting Maxillo-Facial Surgeon.The post holder will be line managed by the Senior Nurse but will also have direct communication with and support from The Head of the CDS.Please click on the link below to view a full job description for this role.Contact: Helen Le Cras - Senior Dental Nurse on tel. 01481 227427 or email: helen.lecras@gov.ggWe strongly advise that applicants speak to the contact named above before applying for this role.
