Service AreaDigital & TechnologyGrade: - SO4 - £87,570 - £98,663 per annumFull TimeThe States of Guernsey are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join the team at Digital & Technology Change.The Portfolio Manager Change is the key officer within Digital & Technology Change (referred to hereafter as 'D&T Change') responsible for the managing the demand and responsible for the delivery of States of Guernsey's (SOG) assigned business portfolio projects. The postholder will be responsible for managing multiple projects, whilst being consulted and/or informed of project progress if infrastructure related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The role requires a strong results-oriented leader who can effectively lead a cross-functional project team in a fast-paced environment.The role involves designing, implementation and management of Change programme and project plans in conjunction with IT partners and other third parties ensuring dependencies, critical dates, and risks are prioritised to ensure a predictable delivery both in time, scope, quality as budget. The postholder will have responsibility for infrastructure project budgets of circa £1-10m annually. This role will operate within D&T Change working closely with the with other team members to ensure that all Infrastructure projects are, commissioned in a timely manner to meet the needs of the SOG and its customers.The postholder will own the construction of all project plans for projects assigned to them and contribute to the Strategic strategy and development of the overall D&T roadmap.
