JOB-20241107-dbb7e2c9We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Band 6 Deputy Manager (RMN or RNLD) to join our Adult Community Services team at our Autism Hub in beautiful Guernsey, UK. What you will do:
  • Assess service users with autism and complex needs to develop tailored care programmes.
  • Guide and direct staff in planning and delivering care, ensuring high-quality outcomes for service users.
  • Lead your team in implementing risk assessments and minimising health and wellbeing risks.
  • Coordinate your team during emergency situations, ensuring service user needs are met.
  • Promote service user involvement and respect their wishes, beliefs, and dignity in care planning.
  • Safeguard service users according to organisational policy and guidelines.
  • Act as a mentor and supervisor to staff and students, promoting a conducive learning environment.
  • Ensure team members understand organisational objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, their significant others, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage conflicts and act as an advocate for service users.
  • Participate in preparing and implementing the annual business plan and managing budgets as delegated.
  • Lead in developing evidence-based practice and undertaking clinical audits.
